GOP urges Party to write Democrat Leaders about Feingold
This week, Senator Russ Feingold proposed censuring the President simply for doing his job to protect Americans from terrorist attack.

I urge you to reject this cheap political stunt. Instead of playing politics with national security, Democrat leaders should finally get serious about fighting the War on Terror.

We are a nation at war. Our President has no more basic responsibility than to protect the American people. The threat is real and every moment counts. Senate Democrats should spend less time weakening the tools we need to fight the War on Terror, and more time focusing on how we can fight the terrorists who want to kill Americans by the thousan

4. Dear Kevin Mehlman,
First of all, we are not officially at war. Congress did not declare war, they authorized the use of force. Secondly, how do we engage in a physical conflict against an abstract notion. Thirdly, on behalf of sen Feingold and in the words of Darth Cheney - Go Fuck Yourself.
with a sincere middle finger,
Me

Victory Plan in Iraq

President Bush has a clear plan for victory in Iraq that begins with training Iraqi forces so they can defend their country and fight the terrorists. We are making tremendous progress towards this objective. Earlier this year, Iraqi forces led the fight in clearing out terrorists during the crucial battle of Tal Afar, with U.S. troops in a supporting role, and every day, Iraqis are taking more control of the situation on the ground. Withdrawing from Iraq, as some Democrats in Washington propose, would send a dangerous signal to our enemies that we cut and run when the going gets tough. President Bush is offering a clear strategy to win, not a political quick fix.

Safety & Security
Protect the Homeland: President Bush is committed to keeping the nation strong and secure through strengthening our military, deploying a missile defense, strengthening the NATO alliance and supporting military families and veterans. The President is committed to promoting an independent and democratic Iraq to ensure further stability in the Middle East and the world on the whole.

11. Democrats waffle and cower and the Rapublicans pounce. We're given
the opportunity to make a stand, and our reps hem and haw and hand wring. Feingold, Hackett and Conyers step up to lead and they get pounded down. :hurts:

13. Wrong spin again GOP
His first duty is to uphold the Constitution he has broken the 4th amendment by illegally spying on Americans. His not going to the court to get a warrant makes him derelict in his duties.

Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

No, Republicans, what needs to happen, IS that you stop your president from wiping his ass with our Constitution!
