1. I do every day

I was unsure for several weeks about him at first. And I've found things I don't agree with him on. He likes to trash Howard Dean, for instance. But what I do LOVE about his show is that he lets people talk, unscreened and unfiltered. He'll take them on and wins every time. :)

10. He hasn't done that in a while... I think, he really got creamed from

listeners when he did it with Murtha. Actually, I'm hearing lately, he is in more support of Dean.

I like him and listen every day. He's great today. Sure I don't agree with him all the time, but you can't agree with everyone all the time.

but there's something about him that somehow seems disingenuous-maybe it's the tone of his voice.You could turn his show on and if you weren't listening closely to the content,you'd think it was Limbaugh.Am I alone on this?

A trucker or somebody like that--say a cab driver or other working type person tunes him in and hears someone he can identify with. And listens.

I listen to Randi on the web during the 12 to 4 (Pacific) hours. Eddie is on our local AAR station in Los Angeles at that time live. Randi then follows him on tape.

My preference is Randi Rhodes, but if happen to be in the car when Ed's on, I enjoy him.

You are 100% about cab drivers and truckers or other working class joes, they can ID w/ him. I hate when I hear people around here bash him. He does a lot of good.

9. I listen nearly every day,

Mike Malloy is my favorite, followed by Sam Seder, Rachel Maddow & Janeane G. Where I live, KC, there is nothing but at least 2 stations of rightwing anger. It'd be great to get the whole lineup of AAR here, but if we could get only one good progressive program, I'd vote for Ed Schultz for the simple reason that his style has the best chance of being listened to by the people who really need to hear it most. Then after he's convinced some people, I'd like to see AAR get a station here.
