HORRIBLE SEAL HUNT
the cruel slaughter of 300,000 baby seals, they will be clubbed to death for their fur. So ppl like paris hilton can say she's stylish--HOW HORRIBLE

and tell Prime Minister Harper to end this cruelty.

SADLY THOUGH they need only 70,000 and have 7,000 (that's sad)

I care. But it isn't high on my list of ills to cure. I worship the day I can worry about seal pups, truly. It would mean all the greater evils have been addressed. No sarcasm, the day I have the time to spend working for the safety of seal pups will be a happy day indeed.

Because, like in Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs, if I got the time to worry about seal pups it means that Bush or any number of political figures or terrorists aren't going to A) Try to blow up the world with a good excuse or B) Try to blow up the world with a bad one.

2. Well, then they won, they want you to worry so much, that we overlook

other things, such as the drilling Arctic, tax cuts for EXXON (by the way made a statement of 36 billion profit last yr., cutting the endangered species act, global warming and them putting more money in their pockets by giving themselves raises and not raising min. wage,

But I wonder do they really want the world to end when they haven't spent their billions yet? If the world is damaged by all this other stuff and there is no more of anything left what will they blow up? My guess it will already be done, but our own hands

3. One of the cruelest events blighting this Earth

You will find there are many here who have worked for years to stop this brutal slaughter. There was a time when it was conducted behind a shroud of silence, it has been elevated to a level of visibility where the outcry grows louder every year. Unfortunately, it also serves as a sad example of how powerful the voice of MONEY is.

Obviously my generation hasn't done a very good job at all. It only takes a few active assholes to undo the good intentions of the passive many. That's what I have learned since the Woodstock days. Complacency, like speed, kills.
