Two GREAT stories to start the day! Why we MUST keep fighting!

Check it out, folks...two of the first stories I see on DU this morning! The birds are singing, the sun is shining, the hard work and activism of DUers (and the left in general) is bearing some fruit. Rejoice! But not too much...lots, LOTS still to be done. But these two stories together should make you smile...the ground is moving...

1. You know..

when that pendulum has swung SO FAR to the right; it has alot of momentum to swing equally as far to the left...
this should be interesting.:D

2. Wussup, are we just conditioned to eschew GOOD news these days?

Maybe it the mechanics of the post, and people are clicking away to read the stories, but not clicking back. But I'm watching people jump on the morning gloom & doom threads, while watching video of Tweety reporting that most Americans think Bush is an incompetent lying drunk, and democratic politicians waking up to the fact that maybe they need to court DEMOCRATS instead of republicans...

Can I get a witness? Is everybody so used to riding the Night Train to Hell that we can't open up the window and stick our heads out for a deep breath of fresh Spring air? We're turning the tables, folks! Let's have a HAPPY DAY for a change!
