More Poll Trouble for Bush
More Poll Trouble for Bush

Americans "have grown more pessimistic" about the Iraq war, a new Harris Interactive poll shows, "with a majority saying they think civil war in Iraq is likely within the next six months."

When asked about President Bush's handling of Iraq, 68% say he's is doing a "poor" or "only fair" job, while 30% say he is doing an "excellent" or "pretty good" job."

2. Ouch! 68% disapproval, 30% approval.
The lowest so far. Are we taking bets on how many weeks before he's solidly in the 20's?

13. He's gone past the tipping point.
Any attack would automatically be blamed on him, now that he's demonstrated his total incompetence and even treason when it comes to our security.

Capturing Bin Laden is not going to happen. Bin Laden is Bush's best ally, the perfect bogeyman.

15. Exactly
I bet poll numbers find new lows after Swarmer. At his point, I'd be perfectly willing to bet money on that.

Since everything he does these days turns to crap, he's better off not doing anything.

16. Even the networks are replaying the "Mission Accomplished" moment
in the context of "Swarmer". Talk about FLIP-FLOP!!! ("Major combat operations in Iraq have ... NOT ENDED.")
