On NPR today: Liberals not reproducing?
Conservatives are far ahead in replicating themselves. Utah and Vermont are compared, and of course Utah is way ahead. What do you think? A future NeoCon/Mormon ruling class and no Resistance?

1. Once the wingnut's kids grow up and see the fucked up world their parents
made they will become liberals.

6. That's what happened in my hawkish, stuck-in-the-50's family.
They produced me and my sister, and they're still scratching their heads wondering where they went wrong.

7. Remember the 60s?
That wouldn't have happened without the regimentation of the 50s.

Trust me, a great number of those kids will rebel.

2. Isn't it just more efficient to let the Right Wingery breed
and then talk to their kids when they're looking to escape?

3. I heard that and kind of sat there in kind of a trance of disbelief
that NPR would run such a story with very little question. Not hard to guess where NPR falls these days.
This guys premises seemed ludicrous and laughable and NPR ran it as truth. Can I have an Amen?

4. Someone needs to tell the Republicans
that the Nation is grateful for their breeding. . .especially since we have so many lowpaying labor jobs waiting for them.

10. Excuse me?
I am the mother of two. I am pro choice. Unfathomable to the Fundies. Both of my daughters are also pro choice. No, not because of liberal high school teachers or college professors, but because of ME and their FATHER.

As I said in another post, that "Smile. Your mother is Pro LIFE" bumper sticker is the most insulting, assine piece of ***** that I have ever heard. My kids were PLANNED and wanted, not FORCED upon me.

12. I don't doubt we have fewer children
Did they address adoption also? I know more of my friends have adopted or are foster parents then our local republicans are.

I wouldn't worry about this too much, many progressive adults were spawned by conservatives. For example, my father was a republican until recently.

13. I know as many liberals with Con parents as liberals with lib parents.
And very few Cons with lib parents. Thinking about my graduating class in HS, most of them turned out pretty middle of the road, and I came from a VERY conservative area.

I'm not going to worry about it. Liberals aren't bred, they're made.
