:grr:

favorite lies so far... the combat operation in Samarra "was not major" and it was done in a "mostly unpopulated area".

Lying MFer...

IRAQ: Hundreds of families displaced by offensive
19 Mar 2006 08:30:00 GMT

REUTERS/Stringer BAGHDAD, 19 March (IRIN) - Hundreds of families have fled the city of Samarra, some 120 km northwest of the capital, Baghdad, after US coalition and Iraqi forces launched the biggest air offensive in the country since 2003.

"We have sent volunteers from the disaster department to monitor the situation and we are preparing ourselves for an emergency," said Ferdous al-Abadi, spokesperson for the Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) in Baghdad.

IRCS volunteers working in the Salahuddine governorate, where Samarra is located, said more than 700 families had left the city and no one had received aid so far.

"We have informed the IRCS's office in the capital about the critical situation and they are going to send a convoy to the area. The main requirements are blankets, tents, food supplies, potable water and medicine," explained Ahmed Tikrit, a volunteer for the IRCS and resident of Samarra.

"They need urgent help and we call on all organisations to offer them supplies and medical support as soon as possible," Tikrit stressed.

4. Murtha did a terrific job
Very compelling.

The statistics that CBS showed on this segment do not bode well for bushco.

For the life of me I cannot listen or watch any of the sunday morning talking heads. They almost always pissed me off and I don't like to start my day being pissed.

He used to be a sweet-slow moon child, who liked to croon quiet songs.

On edit: He's gorgeous; he could have been a singer of somekind.

7. That's what pisses me off the most about "Operation Swarmer"
Other than the obvious

They displaced people in Iraq, confiscated medical supplies in the area (read about that in the TIme article) and scared and worried the shit out of people in Iraq and America - and all for a bullshit stunt.

Families, who have managed to gather together some form of infrastuture and means to sustain themselves - were sent fleeing, in fear, from their homes and for what?

So George Bush could have his news story.

After everything they have been through and continue to go through - the US does this to them.

Military families in America, waking up to much hyped news of "the biggest air assault since..." - felt fresh fear grip their bowels

All Americans woke up to the exact same news...

and for what?

So George Bush could have his news story
