1. don't know of one
the new orleans coroner releases some info every once in awhile but of course the storm affected a much bigger area than just orleans, he says he has a list of 300-400 top priority missing in lakeview and 9th ward that are almost sure to be dead because they were seen in the flooded area immediately before the storm, don't know if he has released the names yet, he was hoping to be able to look for these bodies but acknowledges some will never be found

and some parishes have participated in deliberate fraud really, don't know what else you can call it when harry lee, sheriff of jefferson, takes 100 bodies of elders off the jefferson parish list and declares they died before the storm and were in "storage," which is pretty much good happy horseshit, so those bodies aren't missing but they don't go on the official katrina count either

3. I was born and raised in south
Louisiana....the sheriff in the parish's of southern Louisiana have always had power over the parish cousel. As in East Baton Rouge parish it is a City parish Goverment.....somthing to do with the way the laws are written........not saying its right, just saying the people accept it......:freak:

4. Why is Pompeii different from New Orleans?
In the disaster of Pompeii they didn't have tools and the science to measure and predict.

What is similar between Pompeii and New Orleans?

Pompeii probably never knew the true toll. Maybe New Orleans won't know either. However, legally, someone someday will declare them officially dead. They may not have done that in Pompeii.

Tools and science to measure and predict. Hmmm. We certainly have that. So why not act on what they showed? Because this admin doesn't want to spend money on our own - and they are bigots and phobics.
