Chimpy Taking Questions Today At His Town Hall, Rah Rah Iraq Meeting!
Edited on Mon Mar-20-06 11:52 AM by leftchick
look at the way this is written, give me a break....

Bush to Share His Optimism on Iraq

<snip>

Bush was marking this week's third anniversary of the war by making speeches aimed at boosting support for his mission in Iraq, which has drawn increasing public skepticism at home, according to various polls.

On Monday, he was to speak at the City Club of Cleveland and take questions about his war policy and other topics from the audience in this heavily Democratic city.

White House press secretary Scott McClellan said Bush would update Americans on his vision for Iraq — highlighting the progress being made while acknowledging that not everything has gone perfectly, but that adjustments have been made.

Does anyone really think he will take a single question that has not been prescreened? And certainly there won't be any Democrats in the hand picked audience from that "heavily Democratic city"!

ooh ooh aaah aaah!!

2. Why
does he always do his lips like that? It is just annoyingly gross!

I did laugh out loud at this line:
"White House press secretary Scott McClellan said Bush would update Americans on his vision for Iraq"

He has a vision for Iraq or for anything? Whatever...

9. No doubt Bush will be in the Cone of Silence
in front of a carefully selected audience, with all questions approved and rehearsed ahead of time. A great deal of distance will be between him and the audience. Can't have Chimpy put on the spot, can we?

What a huge difference between Bush and Clinton, who would just walk right up to people, talk to them, shake their hand, etc.

America needs a REAL President for a change...

18. Zero Credibility On Display
If this oxygen thief actually answers a question, I'll be surprised. He's on the Rovian system of "I'll answer your question with my answer"...loaded with the typical, time-worn and worn-out buzzwords that sound more hollow every time this goober tries to utter them.

19. How many times has he said,
"I appreciate that question?"

It usually precedes him blathering about something that did not even pertain to the question.
