Cheney: Insurgency STILL in its last throes

In a TV appearance on Sunday, Vice President Dick Cheney did not express any regret for predicting in the days before the invasion of Iraq three years ago that U.S. troops would be greeted as liberators--or his assessment 10 months ago that the insurgency was in its "last throes." On the contrary, he said the optimistic statements "were basically accurate, reflect reality."

In an interview on CBS' "Face the Nation," Cheney flatly rejected a statement made earlier Sunday by Iraq's former interim prime minister that the increasing attacks killing dozens each day across his country can only be described as a civil war. "If this is not civil war, then God knows what civil war is," Ayad Allawi told the British Broadcasting Corp.

... and he wonders why his approval rating is stuck below 20%.

they MUST let the insurgency go through the death throes, even if they last 30 or 40 years, because to end the life of this insurgency is counter to the culture of Life.

Any life, that of a vegetative state female or the life of Iraqi insurgents happen to be LIFE and we know Bush and his Republican neo-pharisee's have this deep abiding respect for life.

The insurgency must die on it's own, we won't kill it, it would go against the teaching of Gawd Allmighty!
