I am simply astounded that every single person in this country hasn't already either called for his impeachment or labelled him certifiably insane.

11. Is being an idiot an impeachable offense?
I was astounded in November of 2004 that so many people in this country actually voted for him. How could they not have known what an a$$hole and idiot that he is? But the media, even CBS with it's Rathergate flap, continues to give him good press, and Democrats do not speak bluntly about how insidious he has been. Bush is allowed to say "I am a straight shooter" without an objective rebuttal. He visits Kansas and our Democratic governor appears on stage introducing him and saying what an honor it is to have him come to Kansas. The local news spent ten minutes talking him up afterwards too (although they gave 15 seconds to the protestors too. Sadly, there were not really enough to matter. In a city of 37,000 people we could not get 500 protestors, although I drove 120 miles to protest. Most of my fellow Kansans are not that outraged.)

12. That's Natan Sharansky garbage
Ancient Greece and Rome were democracies and they made plenty of wars. For that matter, Hitler and the Nazis were legitimately elected in 1933, so you could argue that while they did not function as democrats, they were installed in a democratic process. So was the asshole in Iran.

13. And, yet, my Repub brother-in-law claimed ten years ago that only
Democrats waged war. He didn't count the Vietnam War because he said it was officially a conflict. (I reminded him that it was Eisenhauer that got us into Vietnam, but that was brushed aside.) The other brother in law question Global Warming in the 90s. Can't tell you what he thinks of it now because I haven't talked to him in detail over the last three years.

Repubs have been fighting the truth, forever. The problem is, guy, that until they hear it from one of their own, they won't admit they made a mistake.
