Do we stand a chance to reclaim in Nov. 2006?

* approval is down. His troops are killing civilians. Economy sucks. Illegal war on it's 3rd year. Illegal wiretaps on US citizens. No immediate aid or recovery response for the Gulf coast.

November should be a cakewalk. What traps do we need to avoid to make it happen?

2. The Dems cannot just sit back and watch
Candidates must get out and point out repub failings at each and every campaign stop. It has to be continuous. Nonstop. Scrap, fight, get down and dirty if need be.

9. Dems: No positions? Check. No telling it like it is? Check!
Edited on Mon Mar-20-06 05:51 PM by Tesha
Dems:

- No positions? Check.

- No telling it like it is in plain language that anyone, even a
Red-state voter can understand? Check!

- Letting the Republicans set the agenda and have their lackey
organizations like the "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" tell lies
as necessary? Check!

- Etc...

Even though polls show unnamed Democrats beating unnamed
Republicans in many, many places, watch as the Democrats
once again manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory
in 2006.

13. I just fear the exit polls and "actual" results will be reversed.
And the Pukes will actually gain seats after there is no outcry over it from our side.

14. Hmmm...interesting feedback...
My local healthcare worker mentioned that, "Anytime you base your agenda on what the other party is doing, they have already won." My thoughts are we should have solutions in hand and agreed upon by the majority of the party.

Nothing frustrates me more than watching dem party leaders on TV being asked about their plan on a policy issue and they don't answer. Instead they sing and dance around the "issues" and "questions" which is unacceptable. Case in point was Durbin getting spanked by Wallace over the weekend.

Wallace asked: "Do you rule out impeachment of the President if we take 2006?"

Durbin: "I don't believe that is a valuable discussion at this point...I'm not ruling it in or out."

DUDE, JUST ANSWER FUCKING QUESTION!!! You know what "We the people..." want. We have told you over and over again. Let's give the enemy some sleepless nights by saying, "Yes. If elected, we will 1.) not stop until impeachment. 2.) Then we pull the trooops out. 3.)Then we enforce gun control, etc.. Stop waiting to see what everyone else thinks. It will be 2007 before you all decide and then it will be too late.

Sorry...had to vent.
