The Art of Thread Killing. Part II
Freeper in mid-froth:

You really love Iraq dont you? I bet you are flying an Iraqi flag outside your home as we speak. If you hate America so bad, why do you continue to suck off her like a new born baby? Why dont you not just move to your paradise the middle east so you can protest with more wimps like your self? (sic)

The rejoinder:

OK. You got me. I obviously must hate America and love Saddam Hussein because I don't condone our military employing cruel and unusual punishment in a widespread manner. You, on the other hand, certainly prove your obvious love for America by your complete disregard for the 8th Amendment of our Bill of Rights. In addition, you obviously celebrate our 220 year history of freedom of expression when you prescribe exile for political dissenters.

Freeper's final frothing:

Did these same people that you are crying over not torture their own people! Its ok for them to do it, right. I bet 220 years ago our forefathers did not envision a bunch of cowards trying to underhand every thing they sought to build with this country. Spare me the torture crap, spitdog. You could care less about them people. Its sad that you put your political beleifs before an 18 year old soldier out there doing what he "volunteered" to do. You may hate America but why the soldiers? (sic)

The awesome power of the Thread Killer:

Why do YOU hate our soldiers so much that you want to see thousands of them die in an unwinnable mission to "free" a bunch of infighting Muslims on the other side of the planet?

2. Wasn't one of the reasons we started the war was to save the Iraqis?
To show them our American love?

He makes no logical sense.

3. Remind the Freeper how Rumbo and plas support the vets...
Mark Shields: From Rumsfeld, an ugly smear and a giant fib

snip...

Well, this is a different year, and in his first 2003 press conference, Rumsfeld shamefully smeared American veterans and then deliberately fibbed about how there is absolutely "no need " to consider reinstating the draft because the nation's all-volunteer military was, he assured us, working perfectly.

First, the smear of veterans. Speaking of the 11 million Americans who, during the Vietnam years, answered their country's draft call and the 2 million who served in Vietnam, Rumsfeld alleged that these draftees "added no value, no advantage, really, to the United States armed services over any sustained period of time, because the churning that took place, it took enormous amount of effort in terms of training, and then they were gone."

I'll say "then, they were gone!" Of the 58,152 Americans who gave their lives in Vietnam 20,352 of them were draftees. How dare the secretary of defense say these good and brave Americans "added no value, no advantage, to the United States armed services?"

Why would he slander the sacrifice of these brave men, dishonor their memory and rub salt in their families' wounds? MORE...

Rummy is an ungrateful PIG!
