Three Kids In Turkey Die From Bird Flu
http://today.reuters.com/news/newsarticle.aspx?type=topNews&storyid=2006-01-06T174334Z_01_MOL141032_RTRUKOC_0_US-BIRDFLU-TURKEY.xml&rpc=22

scary stuff to me, I know there are many that think this is bird flu scare is just another ploy from * to scare us.

I think that every time a person gets infected we are that much closer to a possible epidemic.

These three kids all came from the same family, which is suspicious.

It also turns out that kids apparently play with "severed bird heads" in Turkey?

:wtf:

3. I just saw this on the BBC website and was about to post it. More:
The hospital in Van is treating more than 20 other people, one of whom is in a critical condition, according to a doctor there.

The town where the family lived has been placed under quarantine and no people or animals are allowed to move in or out of the district, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

snip
Turkish Agriculture Minister Mehdi Eker says at least four new outbreaks of bird flu in poultry have been confirmed in the eastern provinces of Igdir and Erzurum and the south-eastern province of Sanliurfa.

5. I suppose it could be true, but look how interesting the timing is...

Maybe I'm reading into something that's simply a coincidence- but why is it that every time the Bush regime has something major to cover up and they are really in deep shit (now more then ever before), the media suddenly gets focused on some other story (Peterson, Aruba missing teen, runaway bride, etc.) and another frightful story hits the wires and starts to make it's way around the world. It seems to gravitate between bird flu and terror alerts every time. These people are so devious, they will stop at nothing. If this story gets wings (excuse the pun!), it will be all over the papers tomorrow, knocking the disappearance of the cruise ship honeymoon husband right off of Rita Cosby and the rest of the non-news media.

I think this gang is more desperate then ever to get the spotlight off of their house as soon as possible. Even people in the red states are beginning to see that the emperor has no clothes- same goes for his his crownies...

7. Playing with heads of chickens who had died of bird flu?
It just sounds too bizarre - something is not right about this story. If I'm wrong, then we'll know soon enough but it just seems to be too strange.

9. Maybe they've been paying off "journalists" in turkey too
Ok so they got busted in Iraq but has anyone ever considered where else they might be buying the news? Turkey is close to Iraq- very close.
