How does it all end ?
How many Republicans will be left standing? What will be left of their once proud Party? How many will go insane and jump out of tall buildings? How many will move off the grid and never get involved in politics again? How many will become Oxycontin addicts? How many will start wearing diapers? How many more will cry in public? How many will become born-again Christians? :)

3. It doesn't end. It's a cycle. Like a wheel. Which is round. Which doesn't

end.

I thought you were asking about the fate of the United States which will lose its coastal cities due the melting of the poles, causing vast numbers of homeless refugees to flood the interior of the nation which is suffering drought and other unstable weather.

We won't have money to deal with the situation because China holds our debt and we're broke for the next hundred years or so, and that's with the hope things will get better.

But that's not what you meant.

6. "The World Is A Circle, It Has No Beginning..."
"...and Nobody Knows Where It Really Ends...Na Na Na Na...na, na, na..."

(As sung on the soundtrack to LOST HORIZON).

Aw, c'mon, you were thinkin' it.

11. Like this......?
Windmills of Your Mind - The Thomas Crown Affair

Round, like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel.
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnaval balloon
Like a carousell that's turning
Running rings around the moon

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Like a tunnel that you follow
To a tunnel of it's own
Down a hollow to a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving
In a half forgotten dream
Or the ripples from a pebble
Someone tosses in a stream.

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Keys that jingle in your pocket
Words that jangle your head
Why did summer go so quickly
Was it something that I said
Lovers walking allong the shore,
Leave their footprints in the sand
Was the sound of distant drumming
Just the fingers of your hand

Pictures hanging in a hallway
And a fragment of this song
Half remembered names and faces
But to whom do they belong
When you knew that it was over
Were you suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning
To the color of her hair

15. Or this
Edited on Sat Jan-07-06 06:07 PM by Ken Burch
"If the world should stop revolving,
spinning slowly down to die.
I'd spend the end with you,
And when the world was through
Then one by one, the stars would all go out
Then you and I
Would simply fly
Away..."
(from "If", by Bread {words and music by David Gates, if he's still
willing to take responsibility for them...)

5. That's up to us
Its great to just sit back, give them enough rope, and let them hang themselves. But the public will very quickly develop "scandal fatigue". And there's already a "they all do it" attitude happening, in both the media and from what I've seen of poll numbers and some of the LTTEs I've been reading. We still need to work harder, push our reps towards impeachment, write our own LTTEs and remind eveybody what Democrats stand for.

7. This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.

8. Here is my prediction-
First of all, I don't think Abramoff would have ever been taken down if it wasn't for McCain heading the Indian Affairs commitee. That is why I think Bushie put a loyalist in charge of the investigation, to protect him. So I believe that a few key people are gonna take one for the team then the rest will just fade away..........as it is so far reaching and so complicated that it could posiibly take out a majority of our representative government. If that would happen, marshall law??? I think Congress will agree with Bush that we should drop it as soon as possible. Delay is gone. Ney is gone. Griles will face some civilian criminal charges and possibly Gail Norton. they will limit it to the Indian investigation only. The whole Atta, Diebold, and every other scandal will be phased out. I still believe GWB is going down, but it will have to do with his blatant manipulation of the law and our Constitutional rights. He will resign IMO. Cheney will leave first, Condi will replace him then Condi will take the reigns until the next election.

Would you like me to tell your fortune? LOL

p.s. I recently took one of those tickle tests and it said I was very clairvoyant. (Whatever that means.)

13. Interesting point. We're missing a suicide, aren't we?
We've got a rock solid murder, but the conspicuous lack of a suicide seems to detract from this one. There's always next week.
