Bush truly is our "Educator in Chief."
"My job's as much educator in chief as it is commander in chief." -President George W. Bush speaking at the Grand Ole Opry House, Feb.1, 2006.

Think about it. By perpetuating programs that will destroy public education, he's laying the groundwork for his fellow Oligarchs to rule our "democracy" in perpetuity. Bush and his backers WANT Americans to be as stupid and gullible as possible. Thus he sees it as part of his mission to guide education with the same skill he's destroyed our military power and financial stability.

He is, in truth, the "education President." He just views education differently than we do.

5. The Educator in Chief's primary job is catapulting the propaganda.

THAT's the only thing he thinks of as "teaching". IF he can ever get everyone to believe him when he blows hot air and lies, his job will be done.

7. on the morning of 9/11 * declared a, "war on illiteracy"
there was a hunger for war on something. My kids are freaked by the PSSA tests they have to take. The teachers have told them if they don't do well on the test, that they'll be fired. Another teacher told my 7th grader, "If you don't do well on the PSSA, you won't get into 8th grade"

9. UGH. I heard him say that.
He actually thinks he's "educating" people when talks about the war.
