Those guys live through hell and only TELL us about it, not show us daily. Yet they're slandered for being "liberal." I say they should embrace the liberal slant, and BOMBARD people with how it really is.

This level of self-victimization takes a minute to wrap your mind around.

a) Had Gore been elected President, this war would certainly NOT have been started
b) Had it BEEN started, Gore would've planned to win, not planned to lose by not planning at all, like GWB
c) Had, impossibly, Gore done everything Bush has done, then Iraq would still be a disaster collapsing into a civil war, which the media are obligated to cover
d) The media have only recently *begun* to find the courage to show glimmers of the disaster that is Iraq

Ugh. Makes my head spin.

The real question is, if a Democrat had been president during 9/11, and had responded in every way as Bush has, would the right wing be cheering him on?
