Propaganda is power.
From time to time, I skate with an elderly woman and we discus the news topic of the day. Several weeks ago we talked about the ports deal and she was dead set against the UAE running our ports. So yesterday I was surprised to find she had reversed her thinking and now feels we have to learn to live in a global economy. I asked why she changed her mind. She said she listens to FOX news and.......... What will it take to make these people realize the hypocrisy of this administration?

1. It might take you explaining to her why this is bullshit and why FOX is
NOT a credible source of information and they merely pose as real journalists.

3. I tried.
She immediately tuned out and wouldn't talk. It's hopeless.

4. You know this (FOX 's credibility) really is so obvious to anyone
that can think for themselves that I'm beginning to wonder if some people have a genetic predisposition to mind control. FOX could not succeed in a country where individuals were taught to think for themselves.

2. It's not the propaganda, it's the size of it....
Afterall, to even be "skeptical" of Bushco's policies within mainline outlets - impacting and shaping the "mainstream" as its intended aim - is to do so within a strategic framework of "acceptable" limits. This is why a shifted-to-the-center "moderate" left has crippled any substantial, or potentially substantial, opposition: by refusing to be honest through institutional, "professional" prostration.
