Is CSPAN talking about the GM buyout this AM?
Looks like the C-SPAN site is down - but I called my mother to tell her it was going to be on, so just wondering if I steered her right. Anybody watching?

And as an aside - thanks for all the smiles this morning - you posters are the best.

DU I can't quit you and and Run Forest Bush Run was an immediate laugh as soon as I clicked on! I LOVE DU!

1. They had one call-in segment on it.
Of course, the stron split between Dems & Pubs came through loud and clear AGAIN!

After reading an article, the host said the question is "Is this the end of an era?"

The Pubs mostly said YES & thank God it's finally over!

The Dems mostly expressed saddness and blamed it on Reagan, greed, and the failure of the Unions.

3. I don't know for sure. Maybe 1/2 hr. I was really surprised at how many
Union haters there are out there!

4. my pension and insurance
is from Delphi (Perfect Circle division) I just hope my check arrives this month <sigh> I can not survive , as a widow without it.
