1. Plamegate/Libby indictment scandal.
2. Abramoff lobbying scandals.
3. DeLay indictment for fund raising/money laundering scandal.
4. Prescription drug program.
5. Port security.
6. Ongoing no end in sight war.
7. Katrina/Fema/Homeland insecurity debacle.
8. Weakening of the judiciary.
9. Un-authorized NSA spying.
10. Uncontrolled spending for war and for tax cuts.

Why don't we tell Americans what WE stand FOR, rather than why the idiot in the White House is such a moron?

5. Democratic Party SHOULD be for removing earmarks from legislation,
or severely limiting this. This would make the clearest distinction from Repubs over Abramoff scandal, congressional corruption.

7. Yes yes and yes. I think the talking points all lend themsleves to a
pretty clear about what Dems should be about. Just look at what the pubs have done. Thats the point of the talking points.

The talking points can easily be successfully debated. Any political candiate worth a donkeys dingo should be able to demonstrate that overall they represent failures of policy and leadership.

If anyone wants to debate that point by defending any one of the talking points they are doomed to turning public opinion and most likely the vote against them.
