Bolton on duty today at the "Ask the State Department" desk. Ask away!
http://www.thewashingtonnote.com/archives/001300.php

Today, John Bolton is manning the "Ask the State Department" desk.

I have just submitted a couple of questions to Bolton.

Here is your chance to do the same.

record a version of "Georgia On My Mind" and not be ridiculed for all eternity?

Oh, you're not . . . oh . . . then my question is. . .

Why the hell did you chase that woman through the hotel and harrass her so incessantly?

3. I enjoyed asking one
Lets see if chooses to answer it. It involved restoring our honor lost through the actions of people like him and his neocon buddies or did he see us being international pariahs for the next few generations.

4. Everyone should jump on this.
For God's sakes, Bolton is going to be answering questions about Human Rights. How could anyone pass that up?

5. My questions:
Ambassador Bolton:

I have a couple questions for you, sir: First, on the topic of UN reform, how do you justify pressing so obstreperously for UN reform, having cited the oil-for-food scandal as a prime example of UN corruption in the past, when the US invasion of Iraq has proven to be an enterprise far more rife with corruption than anything run through the UN? Specifically, the no-bid crony contracts doled out by the Bush administration, the vanishing billions in reconstruction funds, etc., demonstrate staggering corruption on the part of the US "reformers" who placed you in your current position via a recess appointment.

Second, how can the representative of a nation that has alienated virtually the entire world with its tolerance, even encouragement, of torture and "extraordinary" rendition as official policy presume to speak with any authority on the Human Rights Commission?

Thank you,
------------

6. Not like he'll answer, but
"According to your testimony to Congress, you made numerous requests to the NSA to receive the names of Americans involved in NSA-intercepted communications. Normally, the NSA is required to black out the names of Americans before passing the info on to other agencies. Why did you request these specific names? How did you use this information? Why did you vist Judith Miller in jail shortly before she testified in front of Fitzgerald's grand jury?"

Look for this question to be fully answered during Bolton's chat. :eyes:
