At the press briefing. What in hell does "strongest possible terms" mean anyway?

Condi has told the Afghans "in the strongest possible terms" how we feel about the sentence of death for the clown who decided to become a Christian. Presumably we will not stand for it.

What are the "strongest possible terms"? Did Condi tell Karsi that we'd drop the big one on them 15 minutes after the sentence is handed down? Did she say we'd cut off all financial aid? Did she say we'd send masses of troops over the border to rescue the poor born-again?

The GOP needs to energize their base to stop the plummeting poll numbers of * and company. If they can manufacture a story of christian's being persecuted it will give a story that the seven hundred club and the rest of the RW cabal to shout about. Democrats that care more about americans than Afghanis will be beat about the head and shoulders for supporting the persecutors. Pure bullshit in my opinion. Probably paid for by CIA funds and arranged for by assets on the ground. The guy was probably promised to have his daughters escape to west in exchange for the story. Maybe I am cynical. But my bullshit detector is pegged out.
