More "violence" in Iraq. Is it civil war yet?

Another day and another headline like this:

At Least 56 Dead in Latest Iraq Violence

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - At least 56 Iraqis died Thursday in violence, including a car bombing
that killed 25 people in the third major attack on a police lockup in three days.

Carnage like this is now part of the daily routine, and yet the Bush administration
assures us that this is not civil war. What does it take? A death toll in five figures?

I imagine it would have to be 500 a day for at least 6 months before those bastards admit it's a civil war.
