Camp Casey needs help

** We need financial contributions to rebuild Camp
Casey. **

The Easter week events in Crawford are scheduled to
start in 21 days. The organizing and set up
requirements for this action are considerable, and we
urgently need financial support in order to make the
event run smoothly and safely.

What are the projected costs for the action? Board
member Kay Lucas has compiled a report with
preliminary estimated costs:

1-60 X 120 Tent: $2,650.00
1-20 X 40 Tent: $550.00
25-60” Round Tables: $600.00
600-Brown Folding Chairs: $1,530.00

Total---$5,330.00

These estimates do not yet include an additional cook
tent and other items needed such as lighting.

A 20 cu. yd. roll-off dumpster for the 10-11 day event
will cost $300 plus taxes and fuel surcharges, making
an estimated total of a little over $400.

Last August, when Cindy Sheehan came to Crawford for
an impromtu personal action that blossomed into an
international anti-war event, we were blessed to
receive donations that covered the considerable
expenses that ensued. We lodged, fed and sustained
thousands of attenders, thanks to the gifts that came
in.

Now we need your help again. Please give what we can
so that Camp Casey can be rebuilt and re-populated.
Spread the word about the events, and ways to support
the work and the message that Camp Casey embodies.
Cindy will be here, to renew her call for peace and
accountability, and we expect hundreds if not
thousands of activists to join her (hopefully
including you!).

To date, we have not received anywhere near what is
needed to make this event happen! And time is running
short.

The FReepers are going to lie about Cindy every chance they get. First they'll call her a Commie. Then they'll call her an anti-Semite.
