New Song by the Dixie Chicks
The Dixie Chicks have a new song called "Not Ready to Make Nice". I think it is a great song with powerful words. I do not want to cause the Dixie Chicks any more trouble, but I think Democrats should think of making this their 06 and 08 theme song. I think the words really speak to what Democrats, especially the anti-war left have gone through. I guess it is great to see Americans standing up to the Republicans and Bush and for what they believe in. Finally, it is a great song in my opinion. If you want to hear it you can go to either www.crooksandliars.com or www.dixiechicks.com. Crooks and liars links to the Dixie Chicks' website were the song will be played.

1. I'll get their new CD as soon as its available
which is in July, I believe. Not only do I like their music, I appreciate their kicking right wing ass. I hope "conservatives" show their asses again and lash out against the girls. Strange that the zealots didn't scream and holler and shout at Tim McGraw when he spanked bush recently.

2. we were discussing this last night....
It is a great song. The Dixie Chicks seem to have migrated to a genre all their own that does not reflect today's country music (thank God).

15. Yep, I went out and bought some of their music...
to help counter the boycott some of the conservatives tried to start. I'm sure they got a net gain out of it. ;-)

7. Great song.
The democratic leadership (or at least the DLC'ers) would distance themselves from it however, but maybe a candidate can use it as a theme song. Can't wait to pick it up.

10. dixie chicks new album
listened to the advance on "not ready to make nice" and it sounds like a song you will be humming to without even thinking about it... this is an extremely talented group that is taking their bluegrass style to new dimensions... need a t-shirt that says "the dixie chicks were right"
