Over 100 *missing* vote machine memory cards!!!
Just in Chicago and Cook County.

How is that even possible?

If that does not destroy your confidence in electronic voting, you're HIGH.

5. Google is your friend.
Seems like they might have found some since the story I read earlier;

http://www.nbc5.com/news/8177235/detail.html

http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/news/politics/14162258.htm

I've been dealing with a death here... So please excuse my somewhat late posting about this, but the story I heard this AM was that they were searching through bags of equipment for memory cards in like 300 precincts. Now, if they have found them, I have to wonder how secure the chain of custody is!

4. You're KIDDING ME?! Was that on the local news?
Has anyone given an explaination yet?

100 missing cards is THOUSANDS of votes, right? This is the card from a particular machine that they take to the "central tabulator" and that's how it's read? So one card would hold thousands of votes, right?

G-d I hope this wakes people up to these machines!

11. And they are still counting votes.
How could a paper ballot tallied by hand be any slower?
