gwb's cold rhetoric.. Exploiting the death of children. (Beslan Massacre)
Edited on Thu Mar-23-06 09:50 PM by BleedingHeartPatriot
The government of Russia did not support Operation Iraqi Freedom, and yet the militants killed more than 180 Russian schoolchildren in Beslan.

This is from a speech six months ago, however, I just resurfaced this
"gem" and can't believe it, even now.

Outwardly, it was designed to deflect from the terrorist events in Madrid and Spain. However, it is a subtle(barely) slap to the Russians for not supporting the Iraq invasion.

And, yet, gwb continues to expect support from the Russians in dealing with Iran.

What a delusional, heartless f#@*ing jerk. MKJ

1. There are some enemies you don't want to piss off and
Russia is one of them...

Clinton at least had cordial relations....

The Russians hate Condi...I worked with a guy from Russia and he said she was so pious and tried to lecture them on their history.....they hate *

And everytime * makes comments like that....the Russians don't forget...they never forget....

2. You are so right. That sentence is designed for nothing more than scoring
some kind of political points and it almost seems to be saying "the Russians deserved it."

More of gwb's "scorched earth" diplomacy.

I don't know how we'll survive another three years. :( MKJ

4. He misses the point.
The issues Russia faces with respect to oppressed Muslim minorities have nothing to do with whether Russia supported O.I.F. or not.
