4. Because the Dems are too
fucking spineless, gutless, and hopeless, that's why! With a few exceptions like Feingold and Boxer, of course. It appears that we now have another King George, despite the fact we fought a long, bloody revolution to get out from under the rule of King George III. Adams, Jefferson, et al., must be spinning like a top in their graves right now.

9. Why no MSM coverage?
No pretty white girl smile

No implied sex

No titties

No boom-kaboom bombs

No big trucks

No beer

3. The least we can do is bombard the networks with e-mails about this
Let them know someone is paying attention even if they are not. Time for Diane Rehm to do a show on this.

14. IMPEACH THE PUNK!!!!
* & co. need to stopped. Last time I checked, we have a constitution, where it is laid out that there three braches of the government, and they share power in a system of checks & balances. * has to be impeached, and our Senators & Reps. have to grow some damn spines for a change & take a stand. :grr:

15. This needs to go to the Supreme Court pronto
I want to know if the Constitution still applies or the 'unitary executive' does. I have planning to do, dammit.

Bush is DARING us to do something about this. Who will stand up? Voters? Diebold? Democrats? The rich? Or, hope against all hope, ordinary Americans like us?

The very idea of an imperial presidency is an insult to our Constitution and to the great men who constructed it.

16. How much more outrageous is Bush going to allowed to be?
And it's not only the Dems who need to be speaking up, it's the Republicans too. If they keep allowing Bush to push the envelop, it's going to bite them in the ass also. When a Dem is back in the White House (and yes, skeptics, someday a Dem WILL be back in the White House), then it will be harder for the Republicans to cry "foul" when they've allowed Bush to run roughshod over the Constitution (and yes, skeptics, it WILL be harder).

And you know what? It's not only the politicians of both parties that need to speak up. WE THE PEOPLE, of all political persuasions, need to speak up also. Yes, a lot of us have been and will continue to do so. But more and more voices must join the chorus. The rights and laws Bush is trampling on don't just apply to the Democratic citizens of this country. The apply to ALL citizens of this country, and if people don't wake up (and yes, skeptics, I think people ARE starting to wake up), then we as a country are truly doomed.
