"So what's the Democrat's plan?"
You ever hear that?

We have had one party rule now for 5 and 1/4 years.
The Repubs screw Iraq up royally and they then have the nerve to accuse us of not having a plan.

They have become the irresponsible party.

Deflect, diffuse, dilute...they are trying everything but RESPONSIBILITY.

3. They expect dems to walk in lock-step with one single message...
the repuke party doesn't get it. We're a big tent and we allow diverse opinions.

And there are lots of plans coming from Dems.

The repubs just don't have the vision or the guts to seek out better ways. Besides, this 'you don't have a plan' is the only attack they have since they know they've fucked up everything else.

5. Plan is to get rid of Republicans.
Take a survey of the real damage that is as much hidden as what is apparent, then start putting together a plan to fix it.

Why should we tell them anthing in advance? Whatever it is, they will distort and misrepresent.

6. People who say that are intellectually lazy
Too lazy to do a little reading; too lazy to read of of Jack Murtha's speeches (he does have a plan, like it or not); and too lazy to defend the actions of this president, who at the end of the day has more of a responsibility to have a plan than the out of power opposition party.

9. I'm really getting sick of the talking heads repeating this ad nauseum

Not that I should expect anything different from them, but for crying out loud! Why aren't they asking, "When are the Republicans going to get their shit together, and demand that BUSH come up with a viable plan?" (Yeah, yeah, I know, using "Bush" and "viable plan" in the same sentence.....)

It is NOT the Democrats fault that things are as fucked up as they are. Yes, there are Dems who voted for the war, and they pissed me off, but where we are now, in Iraq, with the economy, with the chipping away at our rights -- that falls squarely in Bush's lap, and in the laps of the Republians who won't stand up to him.

Dems can stand up all they want (and I want them to stand up), but the Dems are the MINORITY PARTY. The Republicans are the MAJORITY PARTY, and as such, they get the lion's share of responsibility for the screw-ups going on right now.

10. The plan is to install a President, legally elected who will stop
breaking the law and all the rest of the terrible activities now being carried out by the Bush administration. It will take 20 years to partially clean up the mess. Some things are beyond repair.
