Iran stages war games near Iraq border

Tehran, Iran, Mar. 24 – Islamist militiamen affiliated to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps have launched military exercises near the Iraqi border to “deal with possible unrest”, Iran’s official news agency IRNA reported.

Members of the paramilitary Bassij force staged military exercises in the western town of Dehloran. The paramilitary forces attacked dummy enemy sites during the operation.

“The objective of the military exercises here is to raise the level of readiness of the Bassij forces”, said Alireza Bazdar, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps in Dehloran. “Our forces were able to capture the positions taken by the enemy and destroy the enemy forces”.

“This will help us prepare ourselves to deal with possible outbreaks of unrest with force and determination”, Bazdar said.

Also while he might be able to fund a war with Iraqi money, I don't know where he is going to get the troops from.

money messing with Iraq before the actual invasion, I have no trouble believing he is doing the same to Iran - just quieter. I've seen lots of stories of Israelis being in Iraq. And the Kurds would do anything almost to stay independent.

From the warning * has said, all he needs are nuclear bombs to invade Iran. He has been working on a nuke first policy since he got in office. He threatened Iraq with nukes if they used WMD against our invasion. He's also warned Iran. He knows if he starts a draft, he's done with. Has to use something to conquer all those oil countries.

I don't know - i think this is pretty far fetched.

He now has top military men who are ready to use the nukes. * has also been trying to get approval from congress to bring in new research and testing on nukes. So far (as far as I know) congress has refused to put money into that idea. They were getting close the last time the idea was presented.

* likes nukes. No dead US troops. No bodies of the nuked population to count for war crimes. Don't have to worry about a draft and let the US population get an idea of how far he plans to go. He is crazy. He has been planning this for a long time now.

He's pretty delusional if he imagines nukes are going to get around this particular problem with war.

President Bush's master plan is to drop nuclear bombs on Iran on the theory that he can more easily hide the devestation and cost of war in this fashion. People are going to, instead of being horrified, say, "gosh didn't there used to be people living there?"
