6. Actually
to his friends he is Fritz.

If anyone doesn't know what is going on with the case, it is because they have not taken the time to find out.

7. Thought it was "Fitzie"
It's all second-hand info, at best.

I'm also losing patience waiting. But, that's my problem.

2. He's probably stepping around land mines
and having to keep guard over his family in case one of these "Christians" tries to kill him.

I'm fed up with it too.

How long can it possibly take? Three more years maybe?

5. You know, these threads are getting predictable.

Yawn.

I can almost set my watch by it. Once a week or so, there's outraged bleating re: "It's taking toooooo LOOOOOOOOONG! Why isn't he doing something? He's not doing anything!"

I will explain this one more time. Take notes, there'll be a test later.

The case moves forward. There's actually movement, re: filings, motions, etcetera, at least once a week. They're not making the front page or the television news, so most people will be tuning it out. Right now, Libby and his attorneys are frogs in a stock pot of water, (joined by the WHIG as well,) and Patrick Fitzgerald is slooooooowly turning up the heat under the pot. Evidently, there was evidence recently turned over to his office that has prompted additional investigation. If you are so concerned about "he's not doing anything," here are a few sources you might want to review for the latest.

http://h2oman.blogspot.com The amazing WaterMan, one of our own DU'ers.
http://www.firedoglake.com The ladies of firedoglake, who are the gold standard of all things Plame related. Valerie Plame's husband, Ambassador Wilson, reads their blog. Perhaps you should, too.

Would you rather Patrick Fitzgerald took his time (and the taxpayers' money,) built an airtight case and got convictions, or brought a case that wasn't exhaustively and painstakingly assembled and wasted two plus years of his life and the time and talents of what I imagine are the scores of people currently working on this case? Kenneth Starr took seven years and $70 million of our money to find a stained blue dress. I think we already have more than that in this case.

Oh, yeah. The guy has another job when he's not working on the Plame case.

>Is anyone here still expecting something big out of this Plame case?<

Yes, I am. I'm expecting justice for Valerie Plame and her destroyed network. I'm expecting that the people of the United States will also be protected in the future from having our national security compromised in the name of a political payback. I think that I have an excellent chance of seeing these things happen.

I can wait.

9. Thank you, Julie!
Well said. I'll gladly wait to see Fitz take the whole cabal down. Every last one of them.
