I find it interesting how Bush is using Dem ideals against us.

The immigration thing being the latest.

But as much as we dislike Rice, Gonzales, et al, let's face it: They're not white. And any response anyone makes about "doing a good job" against these scrawny sycophants will get the usual remark of "you're racist!"

Hell, he even parroted Kerry (and everyone else who ever put in concern) on the oil problem.

Look at what he's doing. He's spinning Dem ideals for his advantage.

Maybe it's time the Dems in power start using Repub ideals for our advantage. Here's one: Fiscal responsibility. Here is another: Putting honor and dignity back into the white house. And yet another: Ethics and morality. And my favorite: Compassionate ___________.

Of course, most of the Dems in power seem to be doing nothing - and cowering away from the few who do. Apart from me, who has asked why they are cowering? What's in it for them? What do they know that we don't?

Heck. Even that republican guy who told his son to turn repub and in return get a college education - the rest of us have seen the hurting that offshoring and this so-called "free trade" has done. What does daddy know and what are his connections?
