Let's Talk About YOUR Lies, Rummy!
"Clearly, the United States government has not gotten to the point where we are as deft and clever and facile as the enemy that is perfectly capable of lying, having it printed all over the world, and there's no penalty for having lied," Rumsfeld said at an afternoon news conference at the Pentagon. "Indeed, there was a reward (for the enemy) because a great many people read the lie and believed it."

Ok, Rummy, since you took it there, I'll play along. Let's talk about lying. Sure, "the enemy" tends to lie (that's if you and Bush Co. even know who our real enemy is).

But I want to talk a minute about your lies. And the lies of the Bush Crime Team overall.

Let's talk about the fact that before the Iraq war, you said "we know" where the weapons are. Really? You mind explaining to me why they never materialized, then? Because I'm curious.

Your boss said just last week, that he never really wanted to go to war. He said no President wants war. But Bill Cohen, a Republican who served as Defense Secretary under President Bill Clinton, told Chris Matthews that right after the Supreme Court decided the 2000 election, he received a call from Dick Cheney.

And Cheney apparently told Cohen he only wanted a briefing on Iraq. The incoming Vice President of the United States said he didn't want to know anything else--he just wanted the scoop on Iraq.

Let's also talk about your lie, Rummy, that we would be "greeted as liberators." Sorry, that's a lie! We were not greeted as liberators. The Iraqi people, the very people we claimed to have loved and wanted to liberate, view us as occupiers.

So Rummy, before you go pontificating on the lies of the enemy, maybe you want to try a little bit of course correction, and set your own record straight.

Just a suggestion!

1. It's like watching a real life bad B movie isn't it?
It's awful...but we have to watch because we are living it!

2. That's exactly right!! And this may sound really mean
(And Lord forgive me if it is), but I'm almost glad that many people are experiencing buyer's regret.

Maybe it will teach them that elections DO have consequences, and you need to educate yourself before you go into the voting booth and pull a lever.

Because you just might be voting for a nightmare.

3. Oh...I don't think the truth is mean......it hurts....
but the buyers regret is just getting started.....housing market is slumping...Iraq is spiraling downward fast....gas prices are moving up...

Oh this buyers regret is going to be quite painful.....for all Americans...

I don't know about you but I will neither forgive nor forget them for what this country is going through and what is coming in the near future...We should never let them forget!!

9. Not mean at all. Voting without thinking deserves punishment.
Unfortunately, it is like one of those times when the teacher makes EVERYONE in class write "I will not ..." 100 times or whatever, when only a few students are guilty. Everyone gets this punishment, and we can't get out of it. Mean? Ha! Nowhere near what they deserve.

5. Rummy...
"As you know, you go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time."
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, responding to a U.S. soldier serving in Iraq who asked him why troops had to dig through scrap metal to armor vehicles, Dec. 8, 2004

"Freedom's untidy, and free people are free to make mistakes and commit crimes and do bad things." –Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on looting in Iraq after the U.S. invasion, adding "stuff happens," April 11, 2003

"We know where they are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat." –Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, when asked about weapons of mass destruction in an ABC News interview, March 30, 2003

6. I'm sorry, Dajoki you will never
get through to Rumsfailed on this topic.

Don Rumsfailed is absolutely, positively certain that he's figured out what's wrong with this war. It was NOT the war. It was the propaganda, the lies, the rumours, the photographers, the photos at Abu Ghraib, the journalists, the relatives standing outside Abu Ghraib, telling lies and spreading rumours about the place.

It's everywhere......simple villagers in Afghanistan are feverishly clicking away on their computer keyboards, telling lies 24/7 and the world believes them. Not to mention the millions of muslims who are computer literate, who email each other and tell lies, constantly.

(see what I'm getting at?) There are some men in white coats, who have gotten a phone call right about now....

8. Why is it that the people with the smallest minds always have the biggest
mouths?"

I don't know. Check with your psychiatrist, because it's evident that you qualify.
