Does Bush really "cut brush?" Did Reagan really "cut brush?"
You'd have to be a Republican to believe that these imbeciles spent time "cutting brush" on their "ranches." The only time either of them ever did so, you can bet it was a photo op.

Let's get down to what these guys really did for exercise. I believe that Ronnie actually did enjoy riding horses and that can strengthen your legs.

As for King George, his main exercise seems to be strutting between the White House and a helicopter. The only thing that gets strengthened in this case is his dog, running like mad to keep from getting stepped on.

Has anyone here really "cut brush" for recreation?

no one's ever accused the man of being lazy in a physical sense. Mentally lazy, absolutely, but certainly not physically. The dude exercises every freakin' day. Itwas only a couple years ago that he put off meeting that dude from Nigeria becuase he was on his treadmill, if you'll recall.

10. I think it's actually the real thing...
I know it's hard to believe anything even remotely good about someone you loathe, but everyone who has spent any time with the man -- whatever side of the political fence they may be on -- says the same thing. The man is an exercise-aholic. Like the other response to my post said, it's probably just a substitute for alcohol.

14. I had a friend in recovery from substance addiction who became
an exercise addict. Pulled a tendon in her leg and was in terrible pain, and still went through a strenuous exercise routine every morning because the psychological pain of not doing it was greater than the physical pain of doing it.

This kind of exercise addiction is no virtue, believe me -- any more than succumbing to any other form of addiction is a virtue.

7. Reagan did.
His ranch was within photo range, and his sunday mornings were full of riding and cutting brush. But I think he used a saw, not a chainsaw like Shrub. But then again, W really is a funhouse mirror version of Reagan.

He doesn't clear brush unless a photo op is needed. The same clearing always? Photo ops complete with a "dirty tee shirt" wardrobe.
