Howard Lookagain takes Humvee ride through Iraq countryside!
In state's GOP heartland, questions
Many die-hard Republicans shaking their heads over Bush, war

Monday, March 20, 2006

...One is Howard Kaloogian, a Republican candidate for the 50th congressional district seat who said he isn't surprised that loyal Republicans are showing "a Vietnam-like fatigue" on the war. The media and the president are to blame...

...Hospitals and schools are being built, the economy is coming back, and riding on a humvee in the country, he recalled, Americans are "greeted by kids like an ice cream truck."

Is that what you "recall," Howard?

I can't wait to see the photos!

3. ummm, maybe because he wouldn't be here lying about it--how many
civilians who are NOT reporters have been to iraq and casually ridden around the country-side outside the green zone?
and what was his function/purpose in going last year, when he wasn't running for anything? was he an office-holder then? (sorry, I couldn't stomach reading his bio)

5. His purpose was apparently to assure that Americans and Iraqis
would continue to die for no reason.

His Wiki bio seems to indicate that he was not an office holder at the time of the "trip."

6. Tell him to show the vid - you know he has to have been taping
it all to show how brave he was to go over to Iraq and "see for himself" . . .

Of course, they probably had a hard time rounding up willing kids to place themselves around an American for fear of being blown to bits . . .

No vid, no truth . . . besides, the giveaway would be the signs in the background promoting "Joe's Memphis Hardware Store" . . .
