Suggested Congressional rule:
The Chairmanship of all committees of Congress should always be the opposite party of the President.

OR

The House Chairs should always be of a different party than Senate Chairs.

These fucking BS hearings we have been getting for so many years now has to stop.

This would be a way to ensure that the minority is about to check the power of the majority party.

...but I don't think the second one would be allowed.

EDIT: I take that back...the first one probably wouldn't be allowed either. It would weaken the independence of the legislative branch from the executive branch and vice versa.
