What do we do now?

We have no representation. The people we elected to look after our interests are not interested. President Bush's poll numbers are dropping fast, yet no one will challenge him, except for a very few brave people, and even then they get no support from their peers.

The Republicans are running loose trampling our Constitution like a bunch of wild men. They are bankrupting the country, throwing us into war, lying to us.

The Democrats, who are supposed to provide the balance and the opposition, are doing nothing. Is there a majority of Democrats somewhere calling in supporting the Republican agenda? Are we in the minority here? The Democrats aren't doing what we're asking them to do when we call, so they must be getting their input from elsewhere.

What now?

as we have for the last 6 + freakin' years doing the same thing, taking the same crap the useless Dems dish out and continue thinking it will be different the next time. It's never different though. never. We need a MAJOR Revolution.

I'm witholding $$$$$$$$$$. NO ONE in Congress (except a select few) gets a dime from me until they start representing ME and MY values.

it's all about trading favors, calling in favors, compromising for home state pork projects to look good on a press release, doing favors for big money donors, appeasing their state's party machine, getting re-elected and whatever else it takes for their own self promotion. they are treated like royalty on the hill and i believe it goes to their heads. issue research is done for them, speeches are written, calls are made, mail is answered, and not a trip is made without total staff preparation, etc. etc. but, they're usually good at campaigning and handshaking. meanwhile the busy electorate isn't fully aware that their best interests have gone by the wayside - until it practically hits them in the face.
