Oil futures rise by $2 bucks as Iran test fires super duper torpedo

Crude oil prices jumped to their highest level since Hurricane Katrina on Monday amid uncertainty about Nigerian supplies and as Iran announced it had tested new weapons during war games in the Strait of Hormuz.

Tehran's declaration that it had test-fired a missile and a newly developed torpedo in the strait, the world's main oil shipping route, propelled Brent crude oil futures nearly $2 higher to $67.93 a barrel, before prices settled 93 cents higher at $66.84.

3. I was watching The Sopranos this weekend...
... and marveled at the gas prices listed on the Sunoco sign he drives by as the opening credits roll and "Woke Up This Morning" plays.

When was that filmed? Cheapest unleaded is listed at $0.97 or something close to it...
