Funniest Wingnut Commentary On Delay
For your delight and delectation. From Scrutator:

"It’s happened again. The loony left and their attack dogs in the liberal media have driven another good man from office. Of course, we’ve seen this all before with Senator McCarthy and President Nixon; in the latter case, the Democrats’ coup helped lead to a disastrous civil war in Cambodia. I don’t think the consequences will be quite as severe this time, with DeLay, but certainly this isn’t good.

But, mark my words, you haven’t seen the last of ole Tom . When the circus that is the Ronnie Earle investigation leaves town, DeLay will be free, fully exonerated, and ready to seek office again, perhaps this time as a Senator or Governor.

Here’s the original news story on DeLay’s retirement (via Blogs For Bush). Make no mistake: DeLay took one for the team here. With the shadow of the Earle circus hanging over him, ole Tom had a tough reelection fight and with the climate of left-inspired Bush hatred that is engulfing American politics, this is race we can’t afford to lose."

Really, what can you possibly say to somebody who counts McCarthy and Nixon as their heros? They live in an alternate universe.

11. Oh, I have plenty to say over
at "Screwloose". I'm one of the regular liberal posters. It's fun as hell to refute their idiocy with facts. There are actually more liberals posting there than wingnuts. The nutcases that run the thing put up some of the most hilarious posts you could ever hope to find. It's priceless.

26. Here's another gem from Leo
about how he's more on the front lines on the WOT in Baltimore than reporters in Iraq. Makes the Tom Delay post look almost sane:

Now, make no mistake — I am under no illusion that the Baltimore townhouse I call my office would ever be attacked by terrorists. Truthfully, it would be a very sad terrorist indeed who conducted operations in Baltimore. Thirty-five years of failed liberal Great Society programs have harmed the city more than any terrorist ever could. But I do suspect that downtown Baltimore is much more dangerous than the Green Zone. And that ultimately, the work that most of us do is much more unpleasant and difficult than lounging around the Baghdad Hilton pool, checking out Lara Logan in a two-piece, which is how Michael Ware likely spends most of his time.

I guess he forgot how their pursuit of Clinton lead to 9/11
Imagine if they weren't rabidly pursuing Clinton over a BJ? Perhaps he could have spent more time in his rabid pursuit of OBL - ah, if only the loony RW nut jobs weren't trying to drive a man from office. Imagine if Bush wasn't so obcessed with undoing every good thing that Clinton did - including his plans to attack Afghanistan..

9. oh boy will they be surprised when the Code is given out
on the internet and we'll finally be able to drop our pretense of being human. DeLay has been an excellent plant; he has even convinced some of our own illegal aliens that he 1. is a republican and 2. has real hair.

I understand that all other factors are in place now and we will be able to start sending conservatives to that food processing camp we're building in the Arizona desert. Getting the conservatives to believe we were building it for illegal aliens (bwa ha ahhahaha a) was a stroke of genius.

As concerned as I am with the environment though I wonder what we will do with all the bad makeup, artificial breasts and toupees we expect to accumulate from this harvest.

Any ideas, or should we await further cometary instructions?

13. I'd take Nixon any over Bush
Nixon didn't authorize torture. He may have been a dirty dirty politician, but did he torture people? NO! Delay was the Republican leader of the House and could have stood up to the President. I don't think history will look upon him with a very good impression. I, mean, between the torture and corruption wow Delay is screwed.

While Nixon surely belongs in the bottom 10 Presidents, he's nowhere near the bottom-feeders of the Bushoilini regime.

He’ll be back pmb. Trust me. If not as a Senator or Governor then as head of an AFA-type organization. He’ll get his revenge on Ronnie Earle. One way or another.

Put. Down. The. Crack. Pipe. Dumbass.

Delay is going to the fuckin’ pokey, Leonidas. You’re seeing the beginning of the end for the most crooked government in US history–the Rethuglican Assministration of Dubya.

You should send old Tommie boy a few cases of soap-on-rope, dimwit. He’s going to need it.
