I would say today is not a good day for Bush
- obviously the Libby bombshell
- he just had back to back REAL questions in his "town hall" speech

first question, stated he was ashamed of * (for wiretapping, lying, etc..)
second question, questioning how Hamas issue...

1. I'm predicting another huge drop in the polls for Bush & Cheney.
This is bad. And it couldn't happen to more deserving people.

4. The Libby 'bombshell' will turn out to
be somebody's softboiled egg.

Those on the left will continue to believe what they already believed, in the absence of evidence, and may even truthily figure this is the necessary evidence.

Those on the right will pounce on the initial misrepresentation of the Libby document as further evidence of a left-wing media conspiracy against the president, instead of the muddle-headedness that it actually was.

Most will ignore it, and most that see it go by on their screens will probably be too confused to actual follow the discussion and the hideously confusing proposition that there were two leaks, one putatively authorized and legal, and one of considerably less than certain legality but which is yet unproven to have been mandated from above.
