McKinney just apologized on House floor...
and she would be voting for the bill appreciating the Capitol police.

1. Yea, she's rolling over

Probably a good move, but a bit disappointing. Oh well.

Today is about Bush's high crimes.

9. Not a surprise
two reasons

she probably realizes she is not entirely blameless

and two, she wants to move on with the important issues

21. I don't think she's "Rolling Over"...
.. I think she's taking this off the table because she heard the 'revelation' coming about Libby dropping a dime on Junior.

This wasn't a fight she could win--hopefully she'll rise above it in the end, and so will we all.

5. Good. Let's hope this goes away now. Today is a Plame day.
Bush OK'ed all the leaks.

We want that to be the focus.

No distractions.

10. I don't care what they do to McKinney
Let's just hope she stops being a distraction and we can shift the focus back to real news. You probably haven't heard, but there's been some bad news lately for some Republicans. I want that bad news to be the news, not McKinney's petty little issues with the CHP.

you are not correct
right now bush and cheney have been DIRECTLY implicated in the plane affair, and at the very least, caught in a lie about it

If she recognizes that she may be partly wrong, and does NOT admit it, then we are no better than the repukes, and I am sorry, she has shown just the opposite

Forget about Clinton, HE IS NOT IN THE GOVERNMENT ANYMORE

Incidently, clinton lied, McKinney NEVER LIED. Clinton was told to stop screwing around with the intern, and he ignored his advisors. Clinton may not be as bad as these criminals, but he is also an arragont SOB. The only thing he had to tell the press is it is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, but instead he choose to lie.

15. Smart move on her part.
I have no doubt that other members, including the CBC, explained to her that she was not helping anyone by appearing on several shows and keeping this thing alive.

17. Even my ten year old said yesterday "Why do they keep talking about this?"
Hate to say it I don't know who did what but this crap certainly has dominated the so called news for the last two days.

I don't think it was racial profiling...I think it was anti-bushit profiling and it certainly would have behooved her to take that stance right from the get go (can't imagine why she didn't)

She was a target because of her very public disdain for bush IMO

18. I just called Rep. Stephen Lynch to suggest a resolution...
My resolution would be to commend Dick Cheney's Secret Service detail for keeping local authorities from interviewing him for 16 hours after getting drunk and shooting a man in the face.

I suggest we all call our various Congress-critters and do the same:

Congress:

202-224-3121
888-818-6641
800-426-8073
