CNN's David Ensor says "nothing to see here...Presidents leak this stuff

all the time." Apparently CNN's World edition Anchor made a statement that Bush authorized the Plame Leak and the Bushies must have called in because when I turned it on CNN was apologizing for making an erroneous statement saying that their information was wrong.

David Ensor was brought in to give the Administrations spin and to say it had nothing to do with Plame it was just part of what Presidents do when they are requested by the people and the media to provide more information as we are about to go to war. He
said Bush was within his power to leak information that could be helpful about Saddams seeing uranium from Africa. Business as usual is what he ended his report with. The World News Anchor then apologized profusely to the CNN viewrs for making such a mistake.

They took a break after that for a Commericial from "Kingdom Holdings of Saudi Arabia...making the World Better was the message in their ad. :D I kid you not...that was the commercial after they fell all over themselves apologizing.

So...that's it folks. CNN has declared it DEAD....

11. Did they PLAN it to be Bush*?
After all, like you said, he has already gotten away with:
Disregarding the Geneva Convention
Lying about the war and many other things
Cronyism
Torture (ala Gonzo)
And he has the Supremes stacked up in defense.

Russ's hearing on censure didn't go well, and peole are backing away from impeachment for the NSA spying?

What is going to prevent him from getting away with this too??

2. Damage control. I wonder if that is they guy that I saw announce it
when I turned CNN on. I really don't watch it, but was streaming Paul Hackett on AAR and he announced it. I then turned on CNN to see IF it was going to be mentioned. Eventually it did. I believe it was the anchor. He and some woman were sitting at the desk.

3. Yes it was the World News Anchor not Ensor. Apparently Ensor had
to be rushed in to put out the fire. World News anchor apologized for reading it off the wire or something. Said he should have checked. He didn't look unhappy about his "mistake" although he apologized profusely.

I hope he still has a job after today, though. The Bushies must have been mightily pissed. :D

9. yes indeed--but they should have learned from their first mistake
the document is 39 pages long and complicated--we've had it for two hours. There may yet be even more damning revelations there after examination, who knows?

Oh well, whores are whores--nothing can shame these pathetic stooges.

14. I'll make a deal with Ensor--
He can pooh-pooh the leak as many times as he likes, as long as he explains what Brewster Jennings was and what it was working on before the leak forced its dissolution.
