When they say only parts of the NIE
was declassified and Libby was told it was okay to leak, remember what he leaked about to Judy Miller...Plame's name. Ergo, that was the part that was declassified for him to leak.

1. Leaking the name of an active undercover CIA officer is treasonous.
Add to the mix that it was supposedly 'a time of war' and that particular officer had responsibility for intelligence regarding ill-disposed groups attempting to procure WMD and it is worse than treason.

Making America safer ?

2. The president has no authority to 'declassify' an agent. Or at least,
no president before Chimpy has.
