Katie Couric is dating a Republican...
Edited on Thu Apr-06-06 11:25 PM by AX10
http://www.suntimes.com/output/zwecker/cst-ftr-zp29.html

"There's no question Katie Couric has a lot going on in her life right now. Along with all the hoopla about her expected jump to CBS to anchor the evening news, friends of the longtime "Today" show co-host are gossiping about a new man in Couric's personal life.

Unlike previous beaus involved in the entertainment industry -- TV and sports mogul Tom Carsey andmusician Chris Botti -- Couric's latest comes from a different world. He is Washington, D.C., beer distributor Jimmy Reyes, a divorced father of two, a major supporter of President."

It's that "Librul" CBS again. :eyes:

For those who have not noticed the Today Show, Couric is pretty much a right wing thug.

1. This is getting silly
Just because she is dating a puke doesn't mean she is one.

There are plenty of DUers married to pukes.

13. Not just a puke ... a "major supporter" of Smirk.
It's one thing to be politically challenged and another to fund a criminal regime.

But that's just in my world.

... the Bushoilini Regime. Clearly, I'm not treating Ted Bundy's wife fairly. :eyes:

She's not a puke because she's Korean -- she's a GNPer (our version of pukes). The spouse of someone is rather irrelevant.

I think the point is less about political couplings than the fresh batch of media/GOP nuptials like Campbell Brown/Dan Senor etc.

You can imagine the pillow talk.

It means nothing these days. We've gone from Murrow and Cronkite and Huntley to Brian Williams and Katie Couric. :puke:

if there was any suspicion that she wouldn't play along with the far right?

Don't even buy into thier garbage. Just turn CBS off along with the rest of the Republican channels.

32. This is the same guy who was engaged to Laura Ingraham last year.
However, after her diagnosis of breast cancer (immediately following which she was saying gutsy things like "I'm going to walk down that aisle with my chemo bag if I have to!"), their engagement mysteriously ended.

Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

37. I don't care who she dates. She's a lightweight who should NOT
be sitting in Walter Cronkite's chair. As much as I'm glad to see a woman in this job (remember when having Connie Chung sit next to Dan Rather was just unthinkable?), the selection of this particular woman shows just how far the networks have fallen. Does ANYBODY serious watch the network news these days?

The Grandmas in nursing homes will certainly enjoy watching that nice young woman tell them how wonderful our president is.
