What's the process for initiating disbarrment proceedings? Can "we the...
...people" initiate complaints against Gonzo as injured parties of his so called legal advice? If Gonzo is saying illegal wiretaps of Americans on American soil is legal, and an American is tapped, can we the people sue him for violating our constitutional rights in persuading Bush that the action was legal?

1. Very good thought. If Congress won't stand up for us, we need to use all
available legal means to try to protect ourself. Gonzo's endangerment of us all through devising a convoluted "legal" reason for torture and anything else the little dictator wants to do should also be a part of disbarrment proceedings.

2. In a way we can help

We just have to increase our efforts to state races making our state reps take a position NOW. That way, if Bush is as radioactive as we think, Republicans will flee like rats and then be branded as hypocrites where they made comments supporting Bush in the past.

On edit: Even if they didn't make statements supporting Bush, we still tie them to the "Bush Party." They have presented us with a really good scenario for taking over every state with an election this year as well as just the House and Senate. Heck, I am an optimist, we can go for removing Alito and Roberts. No I am not being sarcastic, if we can get the bloodbath that I hope for, we will at least have a shot at the Supremes. A kid can dream can't she?

5. He's a member of the state bar of Texas.
Here are the rules:

Gonzo appears to be in trouble on a number of these.

How to file a grievance:

If anyone has some free time, you could probably put together a pretty compelling case that Gonzo has violated that Texas Disciplinary Rules on a number of counts.
