"I just spoke with Harry Taylor"- From a diary at KOS
Link- http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/4/6/21185/97610

Frankly, I was shocked he answered the phone. After having read the whitehouse transcript, I had to find the guy and thank him personally. I found myself at a bit of a loss of words - especially since he began thanking me for calling him. We spent about 15 minutes chatting. The guy is genuinely down-to-earth, and I wish I lived closer so that I could go buy him a beer.

The guy is genuine, modest, sincere, and honest. He is shocked by all of this, and according to him, it "was not planned."

>>snip>>

He went on to say that 'it had to be done' and that he can not believe how people can still support 'that guy' - that he has never really been politically active until a few years ago, when he felt he just had to do something.

>>snip>>

I asked him how the crowd reacted - afterwards, as he left, and as his day has gone on. He said that there was not one negative thing said to him while he was there, and that 4 people actually came up to him and shook his hand. One guy stopped him in the parking lot - Harry couldn't understand how anyone would recognize him - and thanked him.

As I said, he said that he is shocked by all of this - that he has a business to run, and that he is real busy, and has an important meeting tomorrow - and now he's got to squeeze in CNN tomorrow morning (ALERT) and the phone message machine is clogged, and he's got a 'ton' of emails. "I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight" he said, as he's got quite a 'rush' over all of this, unexpected as it was (again, quite modest)....he said he found that he had to go over to the gym to work out for 45 minutes to try and find some calm.

>>>>>end

I first thought when watching the video that this guy was a plant that was part of the script of another staged *ush event. This guy sounds like the real deal.

Give em' hell Harry!

3. "not one negative thing"
"not one negative thing said to him while he was there, and that 4 people actually came up to him and shook his hand."

I find this fascinating. He was there in a B*sh friendly crowd surrounded by WH security and NOT ONE NEGATIVE THING was said...

How shallow is the support even the handpicked crowds have for idiot-boy?

This is Harry Taylor, the gentleman who challenged Bush in Charlotte, NC.

And here is the Norman Rockwell Painting, “Freedom of Speech”

12. What got me was the expression
Edited on Fri Apr-07-06 02:31 PM by DearAbby
on the face of the woman sitting next to Mr Taylor.

Maybe there are more people that know what is happening but are afraid to say it "The chimp has no clothes!"

Or maybe "My Gawd, he is wanting a one way ticket to Git-mo"

That expression of this person is very telling.

On edit: I went back and looked at the orginal photo thinking she may be booing Mr. Taylor...but she is the only one that would have been. To me it looks like fearful disbelief. My first impression of her expression.

15. I admit in the beginning, I was one of them
I'm so jaded by the *ush administration with they're scripted events, I just tend to question everything they do.
