Anybody catch Faux News last night?
I know, I know, shame on me for tuning in. But it's noteworthy that neither O'Reilly (even though Tony snow was filling in) or Hannity and Colmes touched on the Libby story.

Fair and Balanced...

:sarcasm:

2. Hmmmm . . . let me guess . . .
It was all about Cynthia McKinney, who endangered national security and practically destroyed democracy by smacking a policeman with her cell phone?

7. Well don't forget --
She also has bad hair. This threat has been traditionally underreported, and Faux is just taking up the slack.

12. Yup you nailed it.
Lead story on Hannity and Colmes was McKinney. As if that story comes anywhere near Libby.

3. According to Stephanie Miller
Human Sharpe Brit Hume who is the managing editor declared it a non-story

5. Hume and company were having a giggle about McKinney
Their fearless leader has committed a treasonous act, and his presidency is going down the toilet. But, a Democrat assaulted a police officer!!!!! HA HA HA HA.

They can ignore this all they want, but there will be a time where they can't ignore it any longer. Perhaps when Dubya is waving goodbye for the last time from the helicopter on the south lawn.

8. Dang -- I was sort of hoping for . . .
a rail, tar, feathers, and a bumpy ride down Pennsylvania Avenue. I live about 50 miles from DC, and I'd definitely skip work to watch that!

9. I probably don't watch 1 hour of Fox a day, but that's enough
I'll take a few minutes from one show, a few from another.

But Hannity is batshit crazy, truly bereft of the normal ability of humans to think and reason. I never watch that show any more.

17. Colmes touched on it in awkwardly
Amidst the big McKinney debate he told larry elder that "This is what you want to talk about. You don't want to discuss the real issue of the day...which is that G Buxh leaked the name of a CIA agent".

It was quickly swept under the rug by the others as they hurridly returned to the non-story of the day, but the message I got was that Colmes may have been rebelling against orders that the story was taboo on Fox.

20. I went to Newshounds for the actual quote:
“(Cynthia McKinney) is easier, or better for the Republican agenda than to talk about the leak information that came out today, right?”

Elder said, “I guess that’s why you brought it up… Let’s get back to the more important…” Without finishing his sentence, he was off on another rant against McKinney. “She exaggerated this, she inflamed it…” Pot Elder said.
