It would be great if Alito would discard all the pre-packaged bullshit and answer all the questions with candor. The Repubs have the votes; he is more than likely going to fly through the Senate and into the black robe--so why not just kick back and tell it like it is--he would not lose one Republican vote if he said any or all of the following:
“Oh, yes….I would vote to repeal Roe…we have to feed the rabid right on that one.
Oh, my main judicial objective is to see that the rich is never hurt by non-rich through the legal process.
Yes, yes,I don’t care if someone sells ground glass as a food additive…there is nothing in the Constitution to prohibit that from happening.
Property rights trumps human rights, those who have are entitled to protection from those who do not have…
The police power of the state is the only thing that keeps the masses in line, the ruling elite demands control…don’t want to upset their holidays in the Hamptons.
So what if the company used orange crates for scaffolding on that high rise, there is nothing in the Constitution that covers killing a few workers in pursuit of profit.”
That sort of candor would be very refreshing and any one that reads already knows that is a paraphrase of what the right feels--that is what all the Republican crap is about.
