Nine-Eleven health effects persisted, study finds

NEW YORK A federal health study finds that two to three years after the Nine-Eleven attacks, survivors continued to suffer from significant respiratory and psychological problems.
The information comes from preliminary data collected in more than eight-thousand interviews with survivors between September 2003 and November 2004.

More than half of those questioned reported new or worsening respiratory trouble. Almost two-thirds reported depression or other psychological problems.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention plan followup interviews this month.

their lungs are shot along with their brains..the toxic soup fire they ingested is lethal. i`ve had just a one run in with burning electrical wire and it dam near knocked me out...that was the last time i threw wire on top of hot steel. i can`t imagine what chemical compositions were created when the buildings burned into the ground
