Why does everything Bush says become the top story on new sites?

Seriously, every time he makes a statement on anything -- judges, taxes, war, economy -- it is tired, substance-lacking fluff that has been repeated ad nauseam but nonetheless lands a spot as a top news item (usually THE top news story on news sites). Yet, at the same time, he can refuse to answer tough questions on any of the crap surrounding him, his administration and his badly corrupted party, even when he spoke openly about it before his people were caught.

What incentive will the administration ever have to address real issues, or even flirt with the apparently alien concept of honesty, if it can say the same thing over and over and have it reported as a leading news story over and over? Has the press learned nothing from the mess we're in right now?

Isn't anything the President makes a statement on supposed to be covered?

You're just confused because this President never has anything of substance to impart. Besides, reporting real news is expensive and would inform the masses. Can't have that!
